A much needed explosion which revitalised music, fashion, journalism, design and eventually every aspect of modern culture and cleared out the things the Sixties hadn't managed to shift. In the beginning, punks were treated as cultural terrorists; which they were, only not quite in the way "councillors up North" and tabloid journalists expected.......
