A master at workby JM - 23:34 on 19 April 2007Grabbing frames for this website has taught me to appreciate again the quality of Peter Whitehead's film making. Choosing stills is no chore, in fact it is a pleasure, as every frame is not just usable, but also beautiful. His style is so relaxed, often using just the available light, his composition looks so easy and natural that it is not until you analyse his work this closely that the depth and skill of his art starts to become apparent. Ars est celare artem. Or , as the kids say today, Peter - respect, man!
Changing tapes to those of any other director means falling to earth with a very hard bump. Back to work, then......
